Countless times I've watched "student star athletes" go through school just because of their athleticism and not their academics. When will we quit ignoring the STUDENT part of Student Athletes... In student athlete STUDENT comes first!
This model is the last one dropping and only 75 of 'em are being produced.
At the current exchange rate, this whip will cost you $1.02 mil; unfortunately, owners of the previous models are being considered to purchase this one.
Growing up in Brooklyn in the 1990's, all I ever wanted was:
Columbia jackets (reversible)
Guess Jeans (w/ the cargo pocket)
Jansport (w/ mad strings)
EVERY POLO HOODY
And last but definitely not least... Air Penny's
Jordan's were cool and always a great look, but in East Flatbush, Brooklyn... Penny's were that ish. And Nike is paying homage to this classic series of kicks with a Hybrid dropping in March 2009... Ladies and gentlemen... I present to you... the Nike Air 1/2 Cent!!
Retail on these beauties are $190... And they're well worth it..

British designer, Robert Godley, is selling these hand-built trophy belt buckles at some of the most prestigious retailers such as Barneys and Saks for top dollar.
In a fashion era where quality has taken a backseat, Godley is a truly remarkable designer.
He also has a decent collection of bunny-tagged polos and ties which are great alternatives to the "pony" used by his former boss Ralph Lauren.
And this is what they're purporting will be delivered this Feb.
Sony shot themselves in the foot a few years ago with that first trailer. Even with more than 3 years of development, Guerrilla can't match that 2005 E3 vision.
3. Killzone sucks.
4. MGS4 has a much bigger fanbase than Killzone.
5. Killzone sucks.
6. There's a benchmark of quality production that MGS titles maintain, which few developers can come close to.
7. People bought MGS4 for either a good game, nostalgia, and/or closure.
8. People will not buy Killzone 2 because it is not a good game--it sucks.
9. Killzone is competing against the following first-person shooters: Halo, Call of Duty, Bioshock, Battlefield, FarCry, Half Life, Team Fortress, Left4Dead, Rainbow Six, and Unreal Tournament to name a few. That market is already saturated. Godspeed, Guerrilla Games.
10. MGS4 sold at least 4.5 million worldwide. Markets outside of North America are seldom as interested in the genre.
I'll admit that I had a pair of LA Gears in 1st grade; you know, the black n' grey low tops. They were pretty fresh ... at that time.
Nevertheless, LA Gear is trying to make a comeback. That shoe--clearly taking a bite from the Jordan 4's--is the most decent one out of the batch released. Unfortunately, that doesn't say much.
I, for one, advocate that they bring back the lights.
Apparently, you can either hook the fully-motorized device up to your PC and play the included Alpine Ski Racing game, or simply use it on its own as a piece of exercise equipment.
And it will only set you back ~$2,300, which is all the more reason for you and your friends to individually buy one, hack it for LAN games, and throw festive parties.
Because ... Well, replace "Wii" with "SKIGYM," and you're good to go.
