Jordan's were cool and always a great look, but in East Flatbush, Brooklyn... Penny's were that ish.  And Nike is paying homage to this classic series of kicks with a Hybrid dropping in March 2009... Ladies and gentlemen... I present to you... the Nike Air 1/2 Cent!!

British designer, Robert Godley, is selling these hand-built trophy belt buckles at some of the most prestigious retailers such as Barneys and Saks for top dollar.  

In a fashion era where quality has taken a backseat, Godley is a truly remarkable designer.

He also has a decent collection of bunny-tagged polos and ties which are great alternatives to the "pony" used by his former boss Ralph Lauren.

GOTTA OWN THE LIGHT IF YOU WANNA OWN THE NIGHT

I'll admit that I had a pair of LA Gears in 1st grade; you know, the black n' grey low tops. They were pretty fresh ... at that time.

Nevertheless, LA Gear is trying to make a comeback. That shoe--clearly taking a bite from the Jordan 4's--is the most decent one out of the batch released. Unfortunately, that doesn't say much.

I, for one, advocate that they bring back the lights.

Inspired by the 90's television show "Twin Peaks" the designs are reflective of the television show; even if your unfamiliar with the show (there were only 2 seasons) I'm sure heads will still cop!

Twin Peaks + Purp Blazers = A great January indeed..
